Ice guardians
A rece of ice people who live in a war torn post apocaliptic world. People who died within the snowstorm might be reborn as ice creatures. These ice folks then have to learn how to become one with nature in order to restore balance within the world all while making sure to rid the lands of the dreadfull ice monsters.
Ice guardians have to go through rigorous trials inorder to become a true guardian and unlock their true elemental abilities. They are promised that after living through a sertain amoun of cycles they will be able to finnalmy move on from this world. Those who fail to keep balance within themselves and who lose their humanity can become the acursed monsters who roam aimlessly and destroy everything and everyone in their path, the more monsters there are tho stronger the storms will become and the gharder it will become to contain the blizzards.
Ice guardians who become monsters will have their vessels destroyed and their core will be used to have them be reborn. Everything about an ice folk is pre written such as their appearance butr also their personality and temperament which means that if an ice creature is too unstable to ever be balanced enough they will have their core destroyed so that they will never be reborn ever again.
